First time at Gateway?
I once heard someone describe visiting a church like being on a blind date: not knowing what to expect, and way too awkward! We want you to have an awesome time and experience God, and we hope these answers make things a little easier. Still have a question? Call (818) 889-4147 or email info@gateway4.org.
What is the service like?
Friendly people will help you find your way around. A live band will play 4 songs (kinda like a mini concert, but better). You’ll hear a practical message that matters to your life. Services last about 60 minutes.
Should I bring my kids?
Yes! Please do! Kids love church more than anyone. They’ll have their own kids’ church, Kids Quest, where they learn about God’s love, sing songs, do a craft and eat snacks. They love it! All of our kids volunteers are background checked.
What should I wear?
Wear what’s comfortable for you! Some people wear a suit or dress, others shorts and flip-flops.
What will happen when I visit the first time?
Our goal is to help people experience God by keeping it simple. If you’re visiting, we will not embarrass you, have you stand up, or ask for money. We totally get that some people just want to check out the church and “be anonymous” for a while, and we’re fine with that! Come check things out and see if Gateway is the place for you.
Can I watch online first?
Yes! Every Sunday is on Gateway Online. Watch the latest message on our Messages page or on YouTube.
Is Gateway part of a denomination?
Yes. Gateway is part of The Foursquare Church.

Yes! Bring your kids.
Kids love church more than anyone. During the 10 AM service they have their own church, Kids Quest, led by Kids Pastor Nicole Barreiro.
